In the age of information and rapid change, solutions to yesterday's problems can no longer be applied in today's environment. Such environment continuously challenges its leaders to exercise creativity. But creativity can only evolve from repeated experience in seeing problems from many different angles and painstakingly uncovering all possible solutions. Such is the quality we seek to instill in our students through lively case study and discussion based classes.

Encompassing diversity as its core value, YBS will expand and support global exchanges. Today, YBS has academic agreements with more than 490 universities worldwide. Such massive global network provides a wide range of options for the students. YBS will cultivate dedicated leaders who will spearhead in Asia, United States as well as Europe.

With Mr. Alvaro Siza, a Pritzker Prize winner (Nobel Prize of architecture), as the chief architect, YBS is well underway in designing its new state-of-the-art building complex that is student-oriented and environmentally-friendly. The new building will provide sufficient number of student discussion rooms, electronic library, and enough space for comfortable meals and relaxation. Funded solely by YBS through its active fund-raising activities, the new YBS edifice will surely become a globally recognized building.

In bringing these goals to fruition, YBS will undoubtedly need significant financial resources. YBS has already launched its ambitious five-year campaign to raise 50 billion won. The entire faculty and staff at YBS will be committed to using its resources effectively for building its new facility, providing scholarships to needy students, inviting high-caliber foreign faculty, and promoting quality education and research.
